Kelly /Wendhurst Intersection Update
Bill Sutton, an Apex Councilman and an Abbington resident, has notified us that the town has received written
verification from NCDOT that there will only be right and left egress from the Beaver Creek Commons Drive onto
Kelly Road at Wendhurst, our back entrance. You will be able to enter the shopping center directly from
Wendhurst but not drive straight across back onto Wendhurst. Straight through traffic would have adversley
affected those living on Wendhurst, Lansbrooke and part of Kellyridge.
We want to thank Bill for all he and the town does to protect the traffic impact in the Abbington neighborhood.
The proposed intersection can be view using the above link and was discussed at a
TOWN OF APEX COUNCIL meeting.
