Crime Alert: On Monday, 05/05/08 at approx. 6:30 pm, a juvenile was approached by an unknown
white male in the men’s restroom of the Chick-Fil-A located at
1110 Beaver Creek Commons Drive (Beaver Creek Commons shopping center).
The male subject asked the juvenile if he wanted to come home with him and told him that
he would give him some candy. The juvenile refused and exited the bathroom.
A white male subject was seen exiting the restaurant in a hurry and left in a brown in color
Jeep Wrangler with a soft top. The registration and year of the vehicle is unknown.
A description of the subject was provided by the juvenile’s mother.
The subject was described as a White male, 35-40 years old, approx. 5’10 in height, blond hair cut
close with a military-style haircut, and tattoos on both arms.
This incident appears to be credible and is currently under further investigation
by the Apex Police Department. No further incidents of this nature have been reported to
this agency. Citizens are requested to contact the Apex Police at (919) 362-8661 or 911 if a
vehicle and person matching the provided descriptions is observed.
Citizens are urged not to approach this individual.
Parents are urged to keep a watchful eye on their children at all times and to teach proper safety precautions.

Apex Town Council reinstated the odd/even irrigation schedule
Beginning April 1, 2008, Town of Apex water
customers will be able to irrigate lawns and/or
landscapes three days a week according to the
following schedule:
• Addresses ending with 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 - Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays
• Addresses ending with 2, 4, 6, 8, 0 -
Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
Lawn irrigation will not be allowed on Mondays.
Hand held hose watering is allowed
everyday. Apex water customers may obtain a
60-day New Landscape Permit from Public
Works at 105 Upchurch Street to allow for irrigation
of new plantings including newly sodded
lawns, first yard seedings, or larger commercial
plantings.
A written notice will be issued for a first violation
of the new mandatory rules. Upon additional
observation of violations, the violator will
be subject to a civil penalty of up to $1,000 per
violation per day. To report a violation, contact

all reports of violations.
